A futuristic apartment in Taipei, Taiwan called The La Fatte Residence has an unconventional approach to design. It used industrial elements combining retro and some futuristic elements. It has colorful designer furniture that perfectly accentuates the taste of the owner. One interesting item in the apartment is a life-size Iron Man figure. But aside from that, it has other features and decors that will make you admire it just like the time-capsule elevator that brings the two levels of the house together. I know you are intrigued. So, come join a virtual tour of the apartment!

At first glance, you will think that this is just an ordinary apartment but when you examine the features in it, you will realize it isn’t.

The industrial features of the house is evident from the ceiling as well as some industrial lightings.

The living room has vintage items in it just like the cubes and the design of the throw pillow covers.

This lighting is an industrial floor lamp positioned at the foyer of the apartment.

That red face is an intriguing item in the house but it does look beautiful.

And that red face is actually a floor lamp that is formed like a man bending to give you lamp. It looks a bit creepy. Lol.

This is a time capsule elevator that is used to access the apartment from the lower area to the second level. I wonder how it feels like while you are in it!

A mix of different black pendant lights are used for the dining area.

What covers the wall for this area is a wallpaper that looks like a shelf of books.

From the dining area, one can have access towards the outdoor courtyard.

The kitchen and dining areas are located on the same space which makes it easier to prepare and serve food.

Seen here is a dining table which serves as a working area as it has a computer on it. Love the centerpiece design!

This is the bedroom of the apartment that used warm and masculine colors in it.

A floor to ceiling glass window is covered with white sheer drapes and a blackout curtain for privacy.

This is the bathroom with an enclosed glass shower and some windows for a good view of the outdoor scene.

This is the home office with a wall system to store important items.

A family from Fitzroy North, Australia wanted to update the look of their back house because it was a dodgy 1980 home nightmare that is damp, cold and possum infested. So, the half back part of the house was removed and replaced with a new space with small open living/dining area that has a large steel door that leads to a sunny backyard. In the interior, it features an internal pod that houses the bathroom, bathroom, powder room and pantry. Another nice feature in the house is the large window in the living room that seems to frame the beauty of the garden. This home is called the Holden Street Residence and you will be able to see its interior below.

This is how the front of the house looks like. It would be surprising to see such stunning beauty inside it.

In the garden, there is a dining space where the family can spend time together while enjoying nature.

A huge steel door opens the living and dining area into the garden.

Seen here is the interior of the house with impressive built-in shelving design. The open layout of the interior holds together the living, dining and kitchen areas.

A large glass window is framed with wood that seemingly create a photo frame effect.

Lovely and modern furniture were used for the interior which matches perfectly with the entire look of the space.

An internal pod sits in the middle of the house where you can see the bathroom.

The central ply clad pod separates the playroom from the main living/dining area.

The kitchen also goes behind that pod. I like the black and white subway tiles used here!

What caught my attention in this dining space is the design of the dining set and the golden lighting.

Look closely at this part of the house. That white door doesn’t open to a room.

But it opens to a hallway that leads to other areas of the house and even to a door at the end.

In this hallway, you can find a bookshelf that adds some life into it.

The kid’s room does look playful and fun with artworks and some paper flowers.

Airplane wall stickers are seen on another side of the wall. I guess the bedroom is used by a girl and a boy because there are flowers too.

The look of the bathroom extends the black and white colors of the kitchen.

While this is the bathtub area with a glass door that can be folded.

Living and working space Scandinavian look at an apartment in Canada. Today, we are going to show you a duplex loft apartment that has a Scandinavian interior. In Verdun, Quebec, Canada is a home and working space in one that was once a tire shop. Thus it is called that way because of the previous function of the space. The functions are fitted for a designers working and living needs. Looking at this interior made me wonder if this is really a space for working or for living because of the functions of the area.

Then I realized it is for both. It sure is a stunning home and working area in one with lively yellow color on the kitchen area.

I like how they utilized the space with wall shelves and other displays too.

The kitchen is small and compact but is very functional. Like how they designed it too.

One secret for dwelling in a small space is proper storage just like how they stored these pans.

Even if the space is small, it is full of beautiful decors and colors that will capture our vision.

Blackboard paint was used for this side of the kitchen where they can also write whatever they need to be reminded of.

Above the kitchen are voids that also serve as a storage for books.

This is a small shower area in white tiles. The sides were utilized for storing books too.

Now look at the vanity area. Yes, more books below it too and some steel storage in red were placed under it. No space in this home is ever wasted!

I can tell that this one is from the upper level with a master bedroom.

The bathroom that we save above an in the previous images can be accessed through this master bedroom with wooden flooring.

You can see that the dining area becomes a working area too. When work is done, laptops are kept and food are now welcome on the table.
